昨日の夜。。というか・・地震がおきてから９時間がたった

イギリスで１９８４年に地震があったらしい。これは、昔、友達に聞いたことがある

昨夜の地震は、とても大きなゆれだった。

地震大国出身の私は、「この揺れは、縦ゆれ・・だね・・・一回大きく盛り上がって
そのあとグラリ・・と来たな」

なんて、真夜中にひとり、思ったんだ。

ＮＥＷＳを今見ていると、被害も出ている模様ですね

煙突が崩れて、落ちてきたり・・・

「ＢＢＣ　ＮＥＷＳ　２４　」　を見ていると昨日の放送でマグ二チュード４．７だった
のが、５．２に変わっていた。

この地震の写真やビデオがあったら、送ってください。又、体験談や意見も
送ってください。と、しきりにテロップで伝えている

日本だと、地震後　すぐに　テレビ局の中が、大きく揺れている映像などが流れたりするが
イギリスはそういう、テレビカメラなど、備え付けていないのだろう。

イギリス人よ・・地震を体験して
日本人の気持ちが少しは理解できたでしょうか？

An earthquake was felt across large parts of England
in the early hours of this morning.

Tremors were felt areas including Merseyside, Birmingham, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Northampton, Norfolk, Surrey and Greater London - including the offices of Telegraph.co.uk. There were no initial reports of damage from the five-second tremor, which is believed to have struck at 00.55am.

The epicentre is believed to have been 15 miles north of Lincoln and initial reports suggest it reached 4.7 on the Richter scale.

Ian Gilmore, 63 from Rainford near St Helens on Merseyside was watching a film when he felt the tremor. His wife Patricia was also woken up and rushed downstairs to see what had happened.

Mr Gilmore said: "It was incredible - I have never felt anything like it."

A resident in Norfolk described it as a"a real mover and shaker".

She said: "It was like a big juggernaut coming down the road The whole house shook - it was a real bone shaker"

Other witnesses reported to Sky News that wildlife - birds and pets- becoming highly agitated as the ground shook.

The West Midlands was hit by an earthquake in 2002 in the Dudley area that reached 5.0 on the Richter scale and caused damage to homes.

今、さっき・・・イギリス時間　２７日午前０時５５分ごろ

仕事をしていたら、家がぐらぐらゆれたのだった。

うそ〜〜〜！地震　・・・？・・・・

イギリスではじめて地震を体験したよ・・・

こんなにイギリス生活長いのに・・


けっこう・・大きな地震だったと思う・・・

そのあと、テレビをつけてニュースを見たら
やっぱり地震があったと・・・ＢＢＣは伝えた・・

子供は、寝ている・・・

うわーなんか怖いわ・・・

日本より怖い・・・

耐震構造なんて、絶対にしていないと思うもの・・・

レンガで造られた家がゆれたらどうなるの？

今のゆれで、かなり家の構造にきしみが出た気がする・・・

おおおお！震度か？マグ二チュードか？　４．７　と言っていた

おおきいじゃないか・・それも震源が近いよ・・・

ロンドンの方までゆれたそうである・・・

イギリスが沈没したら・・どうしましょう？
