息子は絵を描くのがすきである
子供の絵はほんとうに面白い

なんでこんな発想が生まれるのか・・・
楽しませてくれる
この絵は去年の６月ごろ描いたものだ



自分が５０歳になったときだという




変なおじさんでペットボトルをもっている

頭がバーコードになっているのが共通・・・
楽しそうな５０代ではないか！
宇宙人は髪の毛が多いので、こうなるかどうかはわからない

息子は、大雑把なので、繊細な絵は描かない
しかし、何もみないで、どんどん描いてしまう
本当ならば、もう少し丁寧にといいたいのだけれど
私は、わざと言わなかった
宇宙人の持ち味もあるし、彼からあふれ出てくるものを
感じていたからである。
そろそろ、絵の描き方を教えようかな。
水彩などは、繊細さも必要だから

スノウパトロールのRUNという曲です
３年くらい前の曲でしょうか？
イギリスでヒットしました。

UKでは2003年秋にリリースされ、セカンド・シングル「ラン」が全英 Top5
入りしたのをきっかけに、アルバムも3週連続Top 10入り（最高位3位）と
大ブレイク！即プラチナム・アルバムに到達した。

昔の恋を引きずっている人も多いですよね

そんなときに聞くとよい曲があります

THE　STREETSの「DRY YOUR　EYES」です
イギリスではヒットしたんですけれどね。日本ではどうでしょう
失恋して落ち込んでいる男性にその男友達が
なぐさめている歌です。

日本だと星の数ほど女がいるさとなりますが
英語だと魚の数ほど女はいるさになります。

直訳ですけれど、

なみだを乾かして
ボクにはそれが難しいのはわかるけれど、彼女は去ってしまったんだ
女は海にいる魚の数ほどたくさんいるさ

どんなに傷ついてつらいかわかるけれど、けれど今そこから抜け出すんだ
その（恋）は終わったんだから・・

このIt’s over＝終わったんだという言葉はきついけれど
本当の親友にしかいえない言葉だと思います

男の友情っていうのですかね
この曲　好きな男の人多いそうです。

イギリスも明日はバレンタインデーだけれど、日本のように
お祭り騒ぎにはならない。

チョコレートを日本は送る習慣があるが、イギリスは花でも
ワインでも、なんでも良い

私はイギリスの山奥に住んでいるから、なお感じるのだろうが
とりあえず、ちょっとはハート型のお菓子も売られている
それも、ロマンチックとは言えないような、普段と変わらない商品に
バレンタインの文字をいれたようなものだ

イギリスは、カード好きというか、お祝いにカードを送る習慣があるから
カードもバレンタイン用が売られています

義理の世界はこの国ではないと思われるので、夫婦で送りあったり
恋人に贈ったりするでしょうが、あまり大げさなものではなさそうです

これも文化の違いですね
イギリス人は常に（日常）愛情表現をしてますから、日本のように
一大決心であげなくてもいいんでしょう。

日本は「ずっと思っていたんですけれど・・・これ、受け取ってください。きゃぁ！」
なんて一年に一度の愛の告白みたいになってしまう人もいるかもしれません

イギリスやアメリカなどは、男性でも女性でも送っていいし、
決まりはないんじゃないでしょうか？

私は、日本にいても自分があまりチョコレート好きじゃなかったし
デパートに駆け込む勇気も、熱意もなかったから
それほどまでに好きな人がいなかった（自爆してますね）
ので、まじめにバレンタインにを送った経験がありません
（気の毒な人生ですね・・私って）

息子にバレンタインの意味を聞かれ話しましたが、
今年は息子にあげましょう。

チョコレートより、おもちゃの方がうれしいでしょうが・・・

こんなことを書きながら、バレンタインデーとはをWikipediaで
見ましたら・・なんと・・

贈り物の種類はさまざまであるが、チョコレートも贈る習慣は、
19世紀後半のイギリスではじまった。キャドバリー社が 2代目社長
リチャード・キャドバリーが1868年に美しい絵のついた贈答用の
チョコレートボックスを発売した。キャドバリーはこれに前後して、
ハート型のバレンタインキャンディボックスも発売した。
これらのチョコレートボックス等がバレンタインデーの恋人への贈り物に
多く使われるようになり、後に他の地域にこの風習が伝わっていった。

本当かね？と思うほど、のイベントなんですが・・
確かに、お礼に何か上げるとき、手っ取り早いのが、チョコレートボックス
なんですけれど・・・そういう感じがイギリスではありますね

日本のように他に贈答用の物がないからじゃないかなぁ
日本だと、なんでも贈答用になっているけれど、
イギリスはお菓子の詰め合わせもないに等しいし
いってみれば、素朴な世界なんですよね

バレンタインデーの歴史は、ローマ帝国の時代にさかのぼる。
当時、ローマでは、2月14日は女神ユノの祝日だった。
ユノはすべての神の女王であり、家庭と結婚の神でもある。
翌2月15日は、豊年を祈願する（清めの祭りでもある）
ルペルカリア祭の始まる日であった。
当時若い男たちと娘たちは生活が別だった。
祭りの前日、娘たちは紙に名前を入れた札を桶の中に
入れることになっていた。翌日、男たちは桶から札を1枚ひいた。
ひいた男と札の名の娘は、祭りの間パートナーとして一緒にいることと
定められていた。そして多くのパートナーたちはそのまま恋に落ち、そして結婚した。

この文章を読んですごいなぁと思いました
私の祖父母も結婚式の日に始めてあったそうですから、
強制結婚ですよね・・・有無言わせない

桶にいれた紙を一枚ひく・・・もうロットリーの世界です
でも、行き遅れとか・・独身がない世界なんでしょうか？

自由恋愛でめちゃくちゃになりつつある現代と
大昔のように自分の気持ちなんてなかった時代

どちらが良いのでしょうか？

愛とはなんぞや・・です。
